Originally bred in France, Faverolles are a beautiful and unique breed with extraordinarily docile personalities. Instead of white, their eggs are slightly tinted. This breed of chickens features beards and feathers on their feet and legs. Salmon Faverolle hens have a rounded apperance and are a light salmon brown color with creamy white breast, beard and muff. They pair very well with Speckled Sussex and will most likely be at the lower end of the pecking order in most flocks.
